About the Role

The Prairie Cross Ranches is a nationally competitive show cattle operation seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to assist with daily barn responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in livestock care and the show cattle industry.

• Rinsing, blowing, and grooming show cattle
• Assisting with feeding, watering, and basic cattle care
• Cleaning pens, alleys, and maintaining barn cleanliness
• Supporting daily routines and care schedules
• Helping with show and sale preparation (as needed)

• Experience with cattle required; show cattle experience preferred
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
• Able to work in a team and handle physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Work with high-quality cattle in a respected program
• Hands‑on experience in a professional show barn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
