Full-time, 12 month position

$17.45/hr - $19.89/hr

Performs custodial/housekeeping duties in accordance with established standards and instructions in assigned building with minimal supervision. Reports directly to Housekeeping/Flex supervisors.

• Cleans restrooms daily: floors, fixtures, mirrors, etc.; replenishes restroom supplies and disposes of trash
• Maintains (clean, vacuum, wet mop) hallways, stairways, lounges, classrooms, storage areas, entrances, and offices
• Maintains floors and carpets in all areas on a regular basis.
• Trains and supervises student custodial crews
• Reports items that need repair such as: doors, door check/closures, furniture, lights, faucets, etc., on the EARL (Easy Access Repair Line) for non‑emergencies
• Spot cleans carpets as small to medium spots appear
• Changes and collects linens as needed, makes beds when guests are on campus
• Places orders for cleaning supplies and toiletry items at office and stock after delivery by others
• Completes paperwork as needed, such as filling in timecards on a daily basis, work requests for repairs, etc.
• Occasionally changes light bulbs in lamps and some ceiling light fixtures
• Fills in for other Housekeepers as needed

• Physical fitness with no physical limitations: ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, walk distances between buildings, lift 40 lbs. and carry 30 lbs, in accordance with job analysis and physician's approval during pre‑employment job physical.
• Must be able to schedule vacations during non‑busy times. Vacation approval may be limited during peak activity periods.
• Some overtime is required.
• Wear or use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Current, valid Driver's License.
• General knowledge of cleaning terms and safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals.

We offer a competitive starting salary range for this position: $17.45-$19.89 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
