WHAT WILL YOU DO
In a fast-paced, safety-first environment, help move grain to ensure quality and maintain proper inventory. Our family-oriented team is looking for someone who wants to help growers succeed by:
Learning proper aeration techniques to maintain grain quality while also monitoring the quality and condition of grain.Accurately segregating inbound commodities and effectively blending outbound grain.Conducting periodic inspections of equipment for proper maintenance procedures and identifying problem areas.Staying on top of grain market action and supporting company marketing efforts.Assisting with employee schedules and issuing inbound/outbound accounting documents.Check out this video to learn more:
WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, high noise levels, and around dust.Good customer service, problem-solving, and work ethic.Team player eager to help other departments of the company.Willingness to get the job done during peak season by working extended hours as needed.Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.Ability to obtain and maintain a Grain Grading Certificate.Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.Ability to work at heights of over 150 feet and lift 50+ lbs.Solid mechanical abilities; electrical and ag background helpful but not needed.Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.WHY JOIN US
