• Bakery, confectionary, or food ingredient formulation
• 10+ years of experience across Quality/Regulatory + R&D/Commercialization
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Our client is hiring a Director, Technical Services & Commercialization to drive speed-to-market, commercialization, and technical execution across their growing portfolio of value-added ingredient and bakery-adjacent products. This is a high-impact role: the right person will keep the business organized, set the tone day-to-day, and ensure key initiatives move forward with discipline and urgency.

• Lead the site’s Technical functions including Quality, Regulatory, and Commercialization, while managing ~6 direct reports.
• Drive commercialization and scale-up of products from initial formulation through launch.
• Build structure and accountability: prioritize projects, organize work streams, and drive completion.
• Partner with Sales to deliver the technical sell to customers.
• Lead with urgency and presence: roll up sleeves, communicate clearly, and keep stakeholders aligned across the organization.

• Faster, more reliable commercialization throughput and clearer project ownership.
• Stronger technical partnership with Sales and customers (credible, responsive, solutions-oriented).
• A more organized, proactive technical function that consistently executes without bottlenecks.

• Target comp: $120K–$150K base + $30K–$50K bonus tied to measurable outcomes (e.g., product development, sales support, conversion, profitability).
