Oversee the social services department, ensuring that all services are delivered in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Assess patients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, developing personalized care plans that address their unique requirements
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and treatment plans
Coordinate services with community resources, such as home health care, hospice, and other support services, to ensure continuity of care
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of social services
Provide support and guidance to social workers and other support staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and open communication among staff members
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care

Requirements:Social Services Director experience preferred
