Production Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of skilled and semi-skilled employees, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time production
- Assign jobs, prioritize work, and manage schedules to meet customer demand
- Provide technical guidance in CNC machining, laser cutting, robotic welding, brake press operations, and more
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and lean manufacturing practices
- Conduct daily checks on quality, safety, and equipment operation
- Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering growth and skill development
- Interface with other departments to meet customer deadlines and maintain 99%+ on-time delivery performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, routers, and other technical documents
- Document team activities, training, and process improvements
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving within the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent technical education, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4–6 years of related manufacturing experience; leadership experience strongly preferred
- Forklift license required; machining or welding certification preferred
- Strong technical skills in CNC, robotic welding, laser cutting, brake press operations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and workflow planning abilities
- Proven leadership skills: ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform standing work 100% of the shift
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
