Electronic Technician

• Performs trouble shooting and repairs on all tooling and equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Completion of engineering design changes to production equipment.
• Building or rebuilding of hydraulic and/or pneumatic and/or electronic systems on production equipment.
• Modification to PLC and PC Programs on production and facility equipment.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Expertise in programming, electronics, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatics, electricity, welding, and HVAC fields.
• Educational requirements:
  
  Two-year degree in Industrial/Eletronic Technology and/or
• Two years continuous industrial electronics maintenance experience.
• Expertise in operation of computers, programmers, multimeters, O-scope, and other electronic equipment.
• Expertise in blueprint and electronic schematic reading.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments and work with limited supervision.
• Safety conscious – aware of rules and policies regarding plant safety (i.e. OSHA regulations, fire hazards, spills, etc.).
• Must be able to work any shift, including weekends, and overtime.
• Familiarity with and ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
• Leadership qualification (training of Helpers).
• Physical ability to operate fork-trucks, mark-lift, scissor-lift, and cranes.
• Physical agility to maneuver into and out of presses and under, over, and around equipment as necessary.
• Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds on an irregular basis.
• Physical ability to climb ladders – cannot have a fear of heights.
