- Performs trouble shooting and repairs on all tooling and equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Completion of engineering design changes to production equipment.
- Building or rebuilding of hydraulic and/or pneumatic and/or electronic systems on production equipment.
- Modification to PLC and PC Programs on production and facility equipment.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Additional responsibilities per Policies and Procedures
- Expertise in programming, electronics, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatics, electricity, welding, and HVAC fields.
- Educational requirements:
Two-year degree in Industrial/Eletronic Technology and/or - Two years continuous industrial electronics maintenance experience.
- Expertise in operation of computers, programmers, multimeters, O-scope, and other electronic equipment.
- Expertise in blueprint and electronic schematic reading.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments and work with limited supervision.
- Safety conscious – aware of rules and policies regarding plant safety (i.e. OSHA regulations, fire hazards, spills, etc.).
- Must be able to work any shift, including weekends, and overtime.
- Familiarity with and ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
- Leadership qualification (training of Helpers).
- Physical ability to operate fork-trucks, mark-lift, scissor-lift, and cranes.
- Physical agility to maneuver into and out of presses and under, over, and around equipment as necessary.
- Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds on an irregular basis.
- Physical ability to climb ladders – cannot have a fear of heights.
