Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager we are currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for our 1st Shift to be based at our Centralia, IL facility.

Will be responsible for identifying, staging, and delivering received goods from the warehouse to the production floor in a timely manner.
Work ScheduleFirst Shift 9-9s 6:00a to 3:30p with every other Friday off.
Essential FunctionsMaterial Delivery & Scheduling
- Works with Procurement Manager to coordinate the planned and unplanned workflow.
- Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and delivering all material in IE Facility to Point of Use, inventory and/or job carts.
- Deliver daily received items from 4-wheeler trailer to shop floor. Trailer is empty at the end of day.
- Materials requested from production floor line lead or project manager is delivered to that person and signed off for.
- Maintains Material Request Queue to ensure timely deliveries to will-call or shop floor. If necessary, PM/Final employees may retrieve materials from will-call if Material Handler is behind; (see Tier Allowances).
- Ensures goods are appropriately identified and staged for manufacturing and rebuilt for routing to shop floor or other departments within the company.
- Reads production schedule to determine when kitted job carts should be prepared and distributed to shop floor. Job carts are accurate, containing all the required parts. BOM for jobs are signed off at distribution of job carts.
- Return finished job carts to warehouse as jobs are out of the test department, document and return leftover material to inventory and communicate with buyers for supplier returns. Ensures items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Directs salvage of damaged or used material.
- Operate forklift to move or hoist shipments from warehouse to storage or to other designated areas.
- Confers with appropriate department heads to ensure coordination of shipping/receiving warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production and sales.
- Coordinate weekly scheduled review meetings for plan of continuous improvement.
- Maintains proper communication with Project Managers with respect to kitting of job cart material.
- Oversee the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory maintenance.
Tools and Equipment
- Safe use of overhead cranes, forklifts hoists, to assist in moving, unloading, and loading material
- Operate misc. hand tools
- Properly care for and maintain tools in good operating condition; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored at the end of each shift.
- Maintains regular and consistent job attendance. Follows and complies with IE Core Values. Follows and complies with IE safety program.
- Maintains a safe working environment established by Intermountain Electronics, safety guidelines
- Willing to work overtime when necessary. Seeks ways to improve efficiency while maximizing accuracy by fully utilizing available resources and actively seeking to improve performance.

Requirements
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 3 years' experience in shipping/receiving/warehouse operations
- 3 years experience operating a forklift
- In-depth knowledge of IE organization and operations, shipping/receiving practices, and procedures
- Good understanding and knowledge in the production and manufacturing of electrical distribution equipment related to mining industry
- Lift Up To 50 Lbs., Push/Pull Up To 100 Lbs
- Must be able to read English, count accurately, do simple math, and write English legibly
- Must be able to safely operate Company forklifts
