Operator - Macro Source Marseilles, IL

Marubeni America Corporation and Macro Source are seeking an Operator to join our Marseilles, IL terminal. The role involves hands-on work, operating equipment, and contributing to the efficient transfer of dry and liquid fertilizers. Safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company guidelines are crucial.

• Load trucks with dry fertilizer, using approved tools and methods.
• Transfer liquid fertilizer by operating pumps, valves, piping, and automation systems.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment using appropriate tools.
• Follow guidelines for ascending and descending ladders on trucks, towers, and platforms.
• Maintain facility and grounds through proper housekeeping methods.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a fertilizer terminal is a plus but not mandatory.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and use company-supplied PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toe or sturdy leather boots).
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights near water, following respiratory and fall protection guidelines; lifting up to 50 pounds.
• English proficiency for safe and effective communication in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check.
• Flexibility to work overtime (some nights and weekends) as required. Typical hours:
  Monday–Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
