GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled welder who will be responsible for layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble pressure vessels. Welder will need to use their knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. This also includes the ability to analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations where procedural information is unavailable. Must be able to hand MIG weld, run MIG weld-around and double end welders.

40-50 / week
Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Familiar with MIG welding and the necessary measures needed to complete good welds
  • Familiar with basic metal working tools
  • Experience with ISO–9001 requirements
  • Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred but not required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Lifting, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, bending
  • Extended use of welding helmet and other protective equipment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Blueprint training
  • MIG welding training
  • ASME certification is a plus, however that certification can be completed in house
