Controls Technician — Industrial Automation & Panel Wiring

Location: Gridley

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Controls Technician to install, maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of and experience with industrial automation and electrical control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup, testing, and commissioning controls hardware and systems.

Assemble and wire industrial control panels and components.

Install, troubleshoot and replace sensors, transmitters, control valves, VFDs, and other device.

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctions and breakdowns in existing control systems.

Skills &

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of control theory, AC/DC drives and electro-mechanical systems.

Basic understanding of manufacturing plant mechanical systems and operations. (steam, pneumatics, refrigeration, hydraulics, production processes, etc.)Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical systems. (24

VDC to 480

VAC)
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Associates degree in electronic controls or related field.
3+ years of experience in an equivalent role within a manufacturing environment.
