Maintains and repairs the machinery within the department in order to reduce downtime and ensure the smooth flow of materials in the warehouse and through connecting departments.

• Sets up, repairs, and troubleshoots machinery and electronic controls.
• Troubleshoot and correct conveyance issues to improve equipment performance and part flow.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of spare parts and materials.
• Move in-process materials, as needed.
• Keep flow of materials through department and connecting departments running smoothly.
• Maintain a log of machine repairs.
• Follow all prescribed safety practices.
• Work with various chemicals as required, using prescribed safety equipment.
• Implement improvements related to equipment performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years of experience working with electronic controls in a manufacturing environment (Experience with AMR’s is preferred)
• Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Technical, mechanical, and programming skills
  • Communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work and function in a team environment
  • Ability to operate all PIV equipment including scissor lift
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment schematic drawings
