Summary: Perform duties to locate, store, verify, prepare, pick, check and receive products for our distribution & parts warehouse during our 7:00am - 3:30pm shift.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Work from shipping orders, manuals, specifications, schedules and both verbal and written instructions.
- Identify, locate and select products for proper storage.
- Remove products from containers/skids from designated areas throughout the plant to fill orders then transport for further processing.
- Record data (i.e., quantity, shortages, errors, damaged parts) to align with inventory.
- Handle crates, skids and packing material to ensure products are not damaged during shipment.
- Seal crates, boxes, affix labels and mark boxes with required shipping information. Identify, count or weigh a variety of materials, supplies, containers, parts and components.
- Obtain and maintain knowledge necessary to handle similar and related transactions under the new systems as new software is implemented, i.e., ADSI, JDE, DSI. Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Have passed the comprehension tests as determined by the Company.
- Ability to operate, and stand up/sit down a forklift.
- Ability to use hand and power tools and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to use a computer and web based software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow verbal/written work instructions.
- Ability to perform work safely and follow safety policies/rules and regulations.
Wage Range: $20.46 - $26.14
