Maintenance Technician-Nights

Location: Hennepin

Duties & Responsibilities

Adhere to all company safety protocols and participate in periodic Environmental, Health, and Safety training.

Respond promptly to equipment issues that impact production and/or safety.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems across various equipment, including motors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, PLCs, centrifuges, heat exchangers, steam-tube dryers, boilers, conveyors, augers, hammer mills, and process tanks and vessels.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.

Prioritize tasks through effective communication with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor, and process teams.

Utilize the CMMS system to manage tasks and document results effectively.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Technical training or relevant maintenance experience is preferred.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Demonstrates accountability and upholds high standards in all situations.

Working Conditions &

Physical Requirements

Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins.

Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights.

Able to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, hear and speak, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Specific vision requirements, including correctable vision, are required to complete work safely.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting wage for this position is $35/hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience and qualifications.
