Overview

Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented operator who takes pride in machine setup, quality production, and working as part of a team to meet manufacturing goals? If so, this position may be a great fit for you. As a Skilled Automated Operator, you will perform machine setups, production operations, and quality checks for machined parts. You will work both independently and collaboratively to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals while maintaining program standards.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform machine setups, production operations, and quality checks for machined parts according to documented standard work and other written/verbal instructions.
  • Perform various other production and related operations according to documented standard work and other written/verbal instructions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities according to documented instructions.
  • Stock and handle parts to support production.
  • Monitor the quality of parts and assemblies and communicate potential rejects timely.
  • Work positively as a team to meet goals for and improve safety, quality, delivery, and production output.
  • Timely communicate any risks to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance.
  • Participate in 6S organization efforts.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, standard work, work instructions, and other instructions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Required training must be completed within six months of the start date.
