Aerotek - - Responsibilities:
Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions while ensuring consistent quality and adherence to specifications;
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to understand weld symbols, dimensions, and assembly requirements;
Prepare broken or damaged parts for welding by grooving or scarfing surfaces to create proper weld profiles;
Tack assemblies together to hold components in place prior to completing final welds;
Use hand and power tools, such as grinders and fitting tools, to prepare, fit, and finish metal components
