Kress is looking for a full time Mechanical Assembler – 1 st shift to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries.

• Working with the Kress team, produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies in accordance with provided blueprints
• Assemble a wide array of components used in heavy equipment (i.e. hydraulic and electrical systems, cabs, axles, and powertrains) per prints and assembly instructions
• Experienced assemblers commission and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• All Kress employees contribute to a safe and organized work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years previous experience in heavy equipment assembly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints required
• Previous heavy machinery experience strongly desired
• Fluency with various hand tools
• Prior mechanic experience a plus
