CNC Machine Operator:
Seward, Illinois

Our customer in Seward, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a CNC Machine Operator to work full-time on 1st shift. As a CNC Machine Operator, you’ll help support daily production by operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality standards are met in a well-organized manufacturing environment.

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to prints and job specifications.
• Load raw materials and parts into machines and monitor production cycles.
• Perform first-piece inspections and submit parts to Quality for approval.
• Inspect finished parts using basic measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Monitor machines during operation and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Follow job traveler instructions and track completed work.
• Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.

• Must have CNC experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Comfortable using basic inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Pay for CNC Machine Operator: $17.00–$22.00/hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday from 6:30am to 5:00pm. Fridays are shorter, typically ending at noon or 3:00pm.
