Production: Motor Oil Blender

Are you the kind of person who takes pride in ensuring things are done accurately?

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take on the challenge of mastering oil blending according to recipe, and becoming the person everyone relies on to keep production running.

• Meet with supervisor daily to determine production schedule
• Identify and use correct raw chemical materials to bring a production batch into grade specification
• Regularly communicate with the supervisor the status of a batch in process
• Monitor raw materials and report when ordering is needed
• Monitor finished goods to inform the blending production schedule
• Train new associates in oil blending
• Unload-load necessary tankers
• Fill out all paperwork completely and accurately
• Report any spills or leaks that could cause a potential accident or affect the environment
• Keep work area clean

• High school diploma or GED (tech school a plus).
• 3+ years of production experience, or a mix of tech school and hands-on work.
• A self-starter attitude once you learn the position— you see what needs to be done and make it happen.
• Excellent attendance - you realize the company is counting on you each and every day.
• Physical stamina — standing, crouching, bending, and staying on your feet for long stretches.
• Reliable transportation, and the ability to live within 30 minutes of the plant before your start date.
