Compensation

Starting Total Pay: $25.00-$34.00/hour (base pay + shift differential + weekly production bonus).

Production bonus percentage varies with weekly production goals and is paid out weekly. The current average bonus is 65%. Example:
Hourly Base Rate = $16.07, Weekly Production Bonus = 60%. Total Hourly Rate = $25.71.

10% of Nucor’s pre‑tax earnings are contributed annually to the Profit‑Sharing Plan for eligible teammates. The typical 6‑year average is 18.28% of eligible earnings, which include regular pay, overtime, and bonus.
