JBS is seeking an hourly Production Team Member! Position starts at $22.20/hr with the potential to rise to $28.45/hr plus a $1/hour shift differential.

• Use knives, steel, and hooks to perform job tasks.
• Keep knives sharp and maintain proper sharpening skills.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Bag and box product.
• Use personal protective equipment effectively.
• Work hands‑on at high speed, lifting over 50 pounds as required.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow food‑safety protocols.
• Adhere to JBS specifications to ensure product quality.
• Shave or wash animal meat when necessary.
• Inspect meat or products and report hazards to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Work in areas where livestock is being killed.
• Work in temperatures near or below freezing (coolers, loading dock freezer).
• Work in areas with unpleasant odors.
• Work in damp or cold conditions (20–30°F).
• Work in extreme heat (up to 104°F on the kill floor).
• Lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs.
• Use sharp knives or cutting tools.
• Be willing to work overtime when necessary (heavy season August–February).
• Be available for day, night, and Saturday shifts.
• Work in or around bloody areas in a fast‑paced environment, performing repetitive motions. Physical adjustments may take 5–6 weeks.

Typical schedule:

Monday to Friday with weekend work required as scheduled. During the fall season, Saturdays are typically scheduled.
