This role supports process development projects and continuous improvement across these dimensions.

Oversee and coordinate 3rd shift activities of a complex production line, prepare schedules, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Creating reports and records of production processes, tool issues performance, and inventory; sharing them with managers and suggesting improvements to safety, productivity, and quality.
• Preparing, maintaining, and updating documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards; ensuring all processes and products meet desired standards.
• Supervising and directing the daily activities of production line workers, assigning tasks, coordinating between teams, and monitoring safety and performance.
• Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to build a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Performance Management: Working knowledge of performance management techniques and the ability to apply the organization’s system to improve performance.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze situations and make productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Planning and Organizing: Ability to plan and organize tasks and resources systematically.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ability to complete tasks with high precision.
• Data Gathering & Analysis: Ability to collect & synthesize data from stakeholders to reach conclusions.

• Previous foundry experience.
• Previous assembly or production operations experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for production reporting and decision-making.

• This is a 3rd shift position in Mapleton, IL.
