Testing Technician
Our customer in Richmond, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting a Testing Technician to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Testing Technician, you will be responsible for conducting hands-on product and component testing, documenting results, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure quality standards and production schedules are met.
Responsibilities of the Testing Technician:- Provides hands-on testing of products and components as required to ensure test standards, customer requirements, and production schedules are met.
- Reports accurate test results and recommends corrections.
- Assists in developing procedures for testing and evaluation using existing and/or new equipment.
- Ensures test procedures and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting data are properly followed.
- Interfaces with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments to help resolve test-related issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or vocational school training in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Capable of working under general supervision based on guidance and direction provided by team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP software, design software, and order processing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
Pay for Testing Technician:
Starting at $24-$27/hour.
