Corn Sorter-Fall Harvest-Pipeline

Location: Woodhull

Our client is seeking Corn Sorters to join their team. As a Corn Sorter, you will be part of the team supporting Fall Harvest 2026.

** Job Description*
* **- Remove all nonconforming material, i.e. husks/stalks, damaged/moldy product, rogues and off-types, inert material (weeds & refuse).*
* **- Responsible for keeping work area clean and orderly while performing the duties of this job, which regularly require the worker to stand, sit, reach motion with arms and hands, twisting at the waist, stooping, and ability to talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the contract worker is frequently exposed to continuous elevated noise levels and moving conveyors.*
* **- Dress Code/PPE*
* **- Closed toe shoes are required (do not need to be steel-toe).*
* **- Sorters should wear long pants and shirts that cover torso and shoulders.*
* **- All PPE such as gloves and safety glasses will be supplied by the site at no charge.*
* **- Team 1:
Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm and Saturdays 5am-5:30pm*
* **- Team 2:
Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm and Sundays 5am-5:30pm*
* **- Note
- All submitted candidates should be available for either team.*
* **- Wage*
* **- $19/hr sorters*
* **- $3.00/hr shift differential applied to hours worked on 2nd shift*
* **- Perfect attendance bonus at the end of the Harvest*
* ** Additional Details:*
* **- Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the position*
* **- Transportation to and from assignment location is the responsibility of the worker*
* **- Must abide by site seatbelt policy - seatbelts must be worn in all motor vehicles on Corteva property*
* **- The use of mobile phones and/or other portable electronic devices by an individual operating a vehicle is permissible when it is done with hands-free technology. Only use mobile phones and/or other portable electronic devices with hands-free technology (i.e., only by voice commands or single-touch activation without holding the device).*
* **- Cellular phone/mobile device (including iPods/MP3 players) are not allowed in working areas during work time*
* **- Food and drink are not allowed in the working area*
* **- Park only in marked and appropriate areas as directed by Corteva*
* **- Corteva is a smoke-free workplace*
