Machine Operator
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate high-speed finishing, gluing, and carton-making equipment.
- Perform machine setup and make-ready for production runs.
- Adjust forming bars and machine settings to meet product specifications.
- Fill glue systems and ensure proper adhesive application.
- Monitor machine performance and production quality.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairs.
- Escalate major mechanical problems to maintenance.
- Inspect cartons and finished products for quality compliance.
- Support job changeovers and production setup adjustments.
- Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Experience operating high-speed manufacturing or packaging equipment.
- Ability to perform basic machine repairs and adjustments.
- Ability to read and follow production schedules and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
- Comfortable working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with printing, packaging, carton-making, or corrugated equipment.
- Familiarity with machine changeovers and make-ready processes.
- GMP manufacturing experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with production and industrial machinery.
- Fast-paced GMP-regulated manufacturing facility.
- Hands-on work with high-speed, belt-driven machinery.
- Production-focused environment with strong safety and quality standards.
- Majority of time spent on the production floor operating and adjusting equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centralia, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.91 - $27.36/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
