The Product Specialist will work as part of a team for the Product Development and Global Sourcing Department. Product Specialist is responsible for assisting Agri-Fab in achieving profitable and sustainable growth by executing the direction of new and existing product line development based on PAC group direction. Supports development and provides detailed analysis of the market and customer & consumer feedback to PAC team as directed.
Essential Functions:Required but not limited to:
Product Management/ECR/OEM- Leads a cross-functional team to successfully launch new products on time and within budget.
- Manages Pre-Builds / Stage-Gate Process 4-6 (ECR, Stage-Gate, and OEM projects)…Adheres to the following steps on a new project plan, but not limited to the following steps:
Stage 4 – Testing & Validation
- Order Engineering Component Samples (includes lead time to receive)
- Order Electrical Component Samples (includes lead time to receive)
- Final unit build (Two Units)
- Electrical and Mechanical circuit Board (Developmental & Environmental) testing
- Final Design Testing (Two units to be tested)
- Customer acceptance testing (if required)
- Design Validation Testing Report
- CAD BOM to MTMS BOM Validation
- Packaging Graphics (ARD file needed from Engineering/Vendor)
- Final Packaging Prints & TOPS Report Development
- Prior to Drawing Accuracy & BOM Review Documents, forward to Team
- Drawing Accuracy Review (QAP-008-88)
- Design Freeze – Final Models / parts / assembly prints
- Develop Manual
- Release Prints into system (non-packaging)
- ECN Sign-Off Process
- Tooling Fixture Build (in-house)
- Production Line Tooling (if required)
- Release packaging prints
- ECN Sign-Off Packaging Prints
- Order Purchased PPAP Samples
- Complete PPAP of Purchased Components
- Process Review (QAP-))*-8C
