Business Unit Manager

Conagra Brands is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead operations within our manufacturing business. In this role, you will own P&L performance, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure targets for cost, service, and waste reduction are met. You will translate business strategy into actionable operating plans, lead cross-functional teams, and collaborate with supply chain, engineering, finance, and quality. The role includes coaching front-line leaders, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and using data to optimize processes in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage business unit P&L performance and KPIs
• Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and service targets
• Develop and execute operating plans aligned to business strategy
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the unit
• Use data and metrics to identify performance gaps and optimize processes
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, engineering, and finance partners
• Lead, coach, and develop front-line leaders and production teams
• Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards
• Forecast capacity, labor, and materials to meet demand plans
• Support innovation, new product introductions, and process changes
