Meat Production Associate

US Foods seeks a Meat Production Associate to support safe, accurate, and efficient processing of fresh and frozen meat products for wholesale customers. You will trim, portion, and package meat to specification, operate production equipment, follow HACCP and food safety standards, and maintain a clean, cold production area. Working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, you'll meet production goals, complete quality checks, rotate stock, and assist with loading orders.

Responsibilities

• Trim, portion, and prepare fresh and frozen meat products to customer and company specifications
• Operate meat processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in refrigerated conditions
• Inspect products for quality, weight, and labeling accuracy
• Meet daily production targets while minimizing waste and errors
• Properly package, label, and stage finished products for distribution
• Rotate stock and follow FIFO practices to maintain freshness
• Assist with loading, palletizing, and moving product as needed
• Communicate equipment or safety issues to supervisors promptly
