Welder
An established precision manufacturer is hiring an experienced Welder to fabricate components for high-spec industries. This is not repetitive single-part welding. Projects involve different materials, specifications, and welding processes that require technical ability and close attention to detail.
Candidates must pass the company's required 1G/2G/3G weld test.
What You'll Do- Fit and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals
- Perform MIG, TIG, Flux Core, and/or Stick welding based on project requirements
- Read and follow blueprints, welding specifications, and fabrication drawings
- Measure, mark, and scribe materials before welding
- Use tape measures, rulers, calipers, and micrometers
- Verify completed work against blueprint dimensions and specifications
- Monitor equipment and adjust controls when weld conditions are not conforming
- Maintain welding equipment in good working condition
- Record production information accurately
- Collaborate with fabrication, machining, assembly, and quality teams
- Participate in process and continuous-improvement efforts
- Professional welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to pass a 1G/2G/3G practical weld test
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications
- Experience fitting and measuring metal components
- Ability to produce consistent, specification-compliant welds
High school diploma or GED and formal welding-school training are preferred.
ITAR EligibilityThis position may involve access to technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Applicants must qualify as U.S. persons under applicable ITAR requirements. Employment sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
