Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Spring Grove, IL. The technician will be tasked with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal efficiency. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement projects. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair expertise
- Experience with preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality-controlled environment
- Proficiency in using relevant software for managing maintenance schedules and repairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate or technical degree in a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in electrical wiring, cable assembly, or similar manufacturing fields is a plus
