GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Westermeyer Industries is searching for a Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, a successful applicant will develop and implement marketing strategies and create content (physical and digital), as well as be responsible for managing the company website and social media outlets. The ideal Marketing & Social Media Specialist is energetic, well-spoken, and creative.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Westermeyer Industries designs, manufactures, and distributes high-quality components and accessories for the refrigeration and air-conditioning industries. Products include pressure vessels such as oil separators, receivers, accumulators, oil filters, condensers, and evaporators, as well as level and pressure detection devices and a range of replacement parts. More than a supplier, Westermeyer Industries is dedicated to engineering creativity and design ingenuity, offering catalog products and custom solutions alike.

Salary—Full Time
$50,000-$60,000

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage catalog, ensuring part numbers, measurements, and diagrams are up to date.
  • Coordinate the logistical requirements for trade shows such as shipping, equipment rentals, and booth selection.
  • Create and maintain social media calendar and content, using analytics to make decisions.
  • Maintain company voice and brand guidelines, creating cohesive work across multiple channels.
  • Research industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Work with an agency to manage monthly hiring campaigns for PPC and CPC.
  • Use the Adobe Suite to design product information sheets, and other projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • 2–4 year college degree (business, marketing, graphic design, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel as required
PREFFERED SKILL (Not Required)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
  • 3D Rendering
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
