Job SummaryEvent Planning Management:
Direct, manage, and supervise on‑site and/or virtual marketing events—including customer seminars, full‑scale conferences, virtual conferences, trade shows, webinars/webcasts, and other events. Oversee event planning and logistics, ensuring successful execution of event programs. Determine event budgets; research new event opportunities based on potential attendees, speaking opportunities, and other factors. Assess current software and tools, provide recommendations for enhancements, and develop event marketing strategies and communication plans.
Oversee the development of repeatable and scalable event processes, negotiate contracts with conference sites, hotels, and outside vendors, and review post‑event analysis, budget recaps, and feedback to improve future plans.
Direct and supervise on‑site and/or virtual marketing events; oversee planning, logistics, budgets, and tools; develop marketing strategies and communication plans; implement repeatable processes; negotiate contracts; review post‑event analysis and incorporate lessons learned; coordinate daily team activities; assist with management decisions.
Minimum QualificationsRequires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) plus 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree.
Preferences- Experience managing and executing events in a higher education setting
- Experience communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Experience using project management tools such as Trello
- Experience using Handshake
