Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Immunology Account Executive (IAE) Marketing is responsible for leading, developing, and executing IAE marketing plans and programs that support the IAE in-field team. The role involves implementing processes and protocols within Health Systems and large Group Practices to promote Immunology Brands and Patient Support Solutions. The incumbent works in a team-based environment to develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics to maximize brand sales, market share, and profitability.
Internally, the Associate Director fosters positive working relationships with cross-functional teams such as sales force, market access, market research, sales training, regulatory, HEOR, and marketing analytics. Externally, the role collaborates with agencies, consultants, and key health system influencers to drive business objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing approaches with high-impact tactics to influence Health System and Group Practice decision makers.
- Provide in-depth insights based on product and market assessments; understand the evolving healthcare landscape and incorporate stakeholder feedback for strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent business strategy alignment.
- Align closely with Dermatology IBT to support brand priorities and indication launches.
- Work with Market Access and Trade to identify health system opportunities and conceptualize innovative solutions.
- Track and manage marketing budget for responsibilities; consistently deliver high-quality work on time.
- Understand the strategic fronts for Dermatology and align product solutions with Health System organizational goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend strategic or tactical changes as needed.
- Apply new technologies and solutions innovatively, leveraging market research, consulting, and customer insights.
- Support the sales force through ongoing communication of marketing programs.
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) is a significant work activity.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Previous sales/marketing experience required; 5+ years of brand marketing or consumer promotion experience preferred.
- Ability to apply marketing concepts in the development of plans and programs including portfolio value story, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, market research, marketing objectives and strategies, and account segmentation-based engagement.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills; strong planning, organization, attention to detail, execution urgency, and follow-through.
- Advanced degree or MBA.
- Experience working in multiple therapeutic categories.
- Strategic and tactical planning experience.
- Strategic account management experience.
- Launch experience, market access experience, or account executive experience.
- Strong collaboration and team orientation, influencing others without direct authority.
- Efficient project management and communication capabilities, complemented by strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
