Account Manager III – Client Ad Agency
Location: Mettawa, IL – Hybrid, onsite at least 3x/week
Pay Rate: $50–$53/hr
Duration: 1 year
- Serve as the primary account liaison between the pharmaceutical brand teams and advertising agency.
- Manage end-to-end pharmaceutical advertising projects from creative brief and kickoff through approvals, production, and archiving.
- Partner with creative teams and external suppliers to develop promotional materials aligned with brand strategy and business objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, specifications, and promotional deliverables.
- Support Promo Mats review and ensure compliance with corporate branding and promotional guidelines.
- Develop annual project forecasts and conduct monthly financial reconciliations.
- Track project time and maintain accurate account and financial documentation.
- Provide strategic direction on promotional tactics based on product attributes, target audiences, competitive environment, and market dynamics.
- Facilitate resolution of project issues and conflicts to maintain timely execution.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Candidates without a degree may be considered with equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of Account Management experience.
- 5+ years of recent pharmaceutical advertising agency or in-house agency experience.
- Pharmaceutical promotional material development and account management.
- Promo Mats review and promotional compliance.
- Pharmaceutical brand marketing and creative project management.
- Agency workflow management: project initiation, kickoff, approvals, production, and archiving.
- Creative brief development and promotional tactic planning.
- Project budget management, forecasting, and financial reconciliation.
- U.S. and global pharmaceutical account experience.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience supporting both U.S. and global markets.
- Experience managing high-volume pharmaceutical creative accounts.
- Knowledge of medical, regulatory, and legal considerations in pharmaceutical advertising.
- Experience working with external creative resources and production suppliers.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent promotional projects from concept through completion.
