Faith Community Church of Davis, IL is seeking a candidate for full-time ministry in the position of Senior Pastor.

To begin employment on or before October 1, 2026.

Brief Description of primary duties and desired strengths:

A man possessing godly character and the qualifications of an elder. [1 Tim 3:1-7;
Titus 1:6-9]

A man possessing skill in the preaching and teaching of scripture using good biblical exegesis.

A man possessing the leadership skills to lead a multi-ministry staff.

A man committed to equipping the church in evangelism, discipleship, and developing other leaders.

Preferred Competencies (Education):

A man who has obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher in Biblical Studies or in Preaching.

Preferred Experience:

Has had 2 or more years of preaching or teaching experience.

Has had 2 or more years of leading a ministry within a church or in a Christian organization.

Faith Community Church offers competitive compensation based on education and experience.

The Senior Pastor will be offered a mentorship into the position, with the goal of establishing a relationship of trust and unity in serving the church together.

Faith Community Church is an evangelical nondenominational, elder-led church, established in 1976. The current weekly average attendance is 330 adults and children on Sunday mornings. The congregation is made up of individuals and families in all seasons of life from singles, couples, growing families, mid-lifers, and retirees. Faith Community Church is in a rural community in northwest Illinois, approximately 2 hours west of Chicago, close to the Wisconsin state line.
