030) in 2026. In this context, the office is pleased to announce the vacancy for a Programme Officer, NO-1 level, on a Fixed Term Appointment, as part of its team.
This position will provide technical, operational, and administrative support throughout the programming process for the Social Inclusion of Children. It will focus on quality care and education programme design, planning and implementation, management and evaluation of programme/project activities, data analysis, and progress reporting, in support of programme goals and objectives.

Minimum requirements:
- Education:
A completed first level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in one of the following fields is required:
Education, Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or another relevant technical field. - Work Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant professional work experience is required. - Skills
:
Ability to support effective child programme implementation in line with programme objectives.
Expertise in social programmes management, including planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation.
Proven capacity to monitor education programmes.
Experience in developing and strengthening partnerships with national and UN partners.
Knowledge of and experience in Results-Based Management (RBM).
Proven skills in programme data analysis, using data and evidence to inform programme planning, monitoring, and decision-making. - Language Requirements
:
Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French or Russian) is desirable.
- Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset.
- Background/familiarity with emergencies is considered as an asset.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
