Maria for 52 is seeking a paid canvasser for Illinois State House District 52. The position involves direct voter contact work, including door to door canvassing with voters in District 52, phone banking voters in District 52, and volunteer engagement, including recruiting volunteers and helping them get comfortable on their first shift.

The role requires 1 to 2 years of campaign experience, 1 to 2 years of door to door canvassing, comfortable on your feet and outdoors in most weather, reliable transportation since the district spans four counties, and availability evenings and weekends. Plus if you have it, familiarity with Vote Builder, NGP, and Mini Van.

Classification: 1099 independent contractor. Pay: $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience, paid twice monthly.

Hours:

40 per week, through November 3rd.

Start date:

as soon as possible. Reports to the Campaign Manager and Field Organizer. Based out of the campaign office at 50 Ela St, Barrington, IL 60010.
