Job Description

Registered Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care. They provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during their shift.

Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am with weekend and holiday rotation

Pay:
Starting at $37.23 per hour, based on experience

• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, review physician’s orders, and take appropriate actions.
• Complete assessments upon admission, collect pertinent data, recognize normal and abnormal findings, and evaluate patient needs.
• Coordinate admission, discharge, and transfer planning with team members.
• Assign beds and care responsibilities during shifts to ensure consistency.
• Document patient care accurately, including assessments and changes in condition, and communicate with physicians and team members.
• Optimize workflow and monitor care provided by team members to ensure quality.
• Perform triage assessments and collaborate on care planning, making referrals as needed.
• Provide patient and family education, utilizing referral agencies to support patient self-management.
• Respond promptly and courteously to patient requests for assistance.

• ADN (Required)
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire
• RN license through Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation

Estimated range: $37.23 - $57.71 per hour, based on experience
