Job Description:
Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the practice and other departments. Implements and monitors patient care plans to ensure effective treatment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery. Conducts holistic, individualized assessments of each patient considering age, physiological, and psychological status. Administers commonly used drugs and solutions in Cardiology and IR procedures.
Documents all phases of patient status while responsible for their care. Other duties as assigned.
