Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing compassionate care. This role involves managing nursing operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) Responsibilities- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline processes.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on clinical assessments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and utilization management activities.
- Current Registered Nurse License
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Experience in long-term care is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques.
- Skills in medication administration, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and basic life support are essential.
- Ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a supportive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and staff members.
