This locum tenens position offers both day and evening shift options, with hours ranging from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am. Diverse Case Mix:
Gain experience in a wide range of surgical cases, including pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, cardiac, vascular surgery, pain management, and gynecology. Collaboration and Support:
Work within a supportive medical supervision model alongside a team of 13 experienced CRNAs in a 4-OR facility with dedicated endoscopy and cardiovascular rooms. Competitive Compensation and Benefits:

Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care according to evidence-based practices for a variety of surgical procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform spinal anesthesia, nerve blocks, and epidural procedures with proficiency. Maintain accurate case logs and documentation. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in anesthesia practices and patient care.

Qualifications:

Current national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Active Illinois state licensure. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Minimum two years of experience in a hospital setting providing anesthesia services. Proficient in performing spinal anesthesia, nerve blocks, and epidural procedures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Must be able to meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements (religious and medical exemptions may be considered).
