Advanced Practice Provider - Interventional Pain; Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role based in Fox River Grove / Barrington, IL. As an Advanced Practice Provider - Interventional Pain (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and creating treatment plans for patients presenting with acute and chronic pain. Your daily tasks will include conducting patient evaluations, performing basic procedures, prescribing medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.

Additionally, you will be tasked with educating patients, their families, and referring providers about treatment options and pain management strategies.

• Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with chronic pain
• Skills in conducting patient evaluations and developing treatment plans
• Proficiency in medication management and understanding of basic interventional pain modalities
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with other staff members, referring providers, and patients
• Eligible for certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies, or related field
• Prior experience in pain management or related healthcare field preferred
