Day‑to‑day responsibilities for the Emergency Room RN include rapid triage, stabilization, trauma and stroke alerts, chest‑pain protocols, safe medication administration, evidence‑based practice, patient and family education, throughput optimization, and contributing to a friendly, diverse, and inclusive nursing team that champions shared governance and continuous improvement.
