In this travel RN CVOR role, you'll collaborate with knowledgeable surgical staff known for their commitment to patient care and team-driven approaches. Every case offers an opportunity to refine your technical skills, participate in interdisciplinary care, and gain insights into various approaches to surgical nursing leadership.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific hours will be discussed during the interview process)
- Active RN license, eligible for Illinois practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Deliver perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Circulate and/or scrub in various CVOR procedures
- Maintain and monitor sterile field and instrumentation
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
- Document pre-, intra-, and post-operative care accurately
- Support patient safety, comfort, and positive surgical outcomes
