Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 p.m.
- 7:00 a.m.
Wage Range: $30.05 - $43.27
Night Shift Differential: $5 per hour
Sign-on Bonus: Up to $15,000
Hamilton Memorial Hospital District (HMHD) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical/Surgical Unit. This full-time position offers a dynamic and rewarding role, providing essential care in a 25-bed facility within a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
You will collaborate with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs the primary functions of a registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients ages newborn through geriatric.
- Responsible for meeting established standards of nursing care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery processes.
- Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Assist with airway management and other critical interventions as necessary.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the medical records system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
