RN - Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Job Summary

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery at Mercy One, Silvis, IL. Full‑time 12‑hour night shift (5:00 p–5:30 a.m.) providing high‑quality, culturally competent care for mothers, infants, normal labor and delivery patients, and high‑risk neonates.

• Complex assessments of labor and delivery patients.
• Diagnosis and outcomes identification.
• Planning, implementation, & evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidence‑based practice.
• Adherence to professional practice standards as defined by ANA.
• Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
• Perform color‑blindness testing required for Nitrazine testing.

• 12‑hour shifts.
• Day shift: 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.;
  Night shift: 5:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
• Every third weekend.
• Rotating weekends and holidays.
• PRN status – minimum 24 hours per month.

• Registered Nurse in Illinois.
• Registered Nurse in Iowa within 1 year of application.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.

Pay Range: $32.74 – $49.11 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification.
