Position:
Pre Post Echo Registered Nurse

Schedule:

7:00am–4:30pm, with rotating weekends. No on-call required.

• Provide leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care for patients and families.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, document care and teaching.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

• Required Experience:
  
  One year of RN experience
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Strong cardiac and/or critical care nursing experience
• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a plan to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire
• Grandfathering accepted between departments and Mission Health entities; exemptions or extensions may be approved by the facility CNO and reported to the CNO Council
• RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt
• Preferred Education:
  
  Master's in Nursing
• Required License:
  Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply
• Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Preferred Certification:
  National Certification in area of specialty
