Job SummaryPosition:
Pre Post Echo Registered Nurse
Schedule:
7:00am–4:30pm, with rotating weekends. No on-call required.
- Provide leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care for patients and families.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, document care and teaching.
- Implement medically prescribed interventions and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Required Experience:
One year of RN experience - Preferred Experience:
Strong cardiac and/or critical care nursing experience - Required
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a plan to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire - Grandfathering accepted between departments and Mission Health entities; exemptions or extensions may be approved by the facility CNO and reported to the CNO Council
- RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt
- Preferred Education:
Master's in Nursing - Required License:
Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply - Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
- Preferred Certification:
National Certification in area of specialty
