Western Illinois Correctional Center, Mount Sterling, IL 62353
Type:
Full‑time
Shift: Days (7am–3pm, 8hr shifts, 5 per week)
Pay Rate: $35/hr (starting)
ResponsibilitiesThe LPN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one
- Active certification in Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
