Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate health care professional to support and manage Nursing Services for residents, ensuring compliance with physicians' orders and meeting the residents' comprehensive needs.
What Will You Do in This Role?As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will:
- Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) to supervise Nursing Services 24 hours a day and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Currently licensed as an RN in the state in which you are practicing
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
