Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with healthcare providers, and administering medications. You will work in a fast-paced environment, caring for patients who are recovering from surgery, illnesses, or injuries.
Responsibilities and Duties- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions
- Implementing patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments
- Documenting patient progress
- Educating patients and families on health management
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure patient well-being
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Prior experience in a Med/Surg unit preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
